The NAILSOFTHEDAY color-effect top coat collection brings together four closely related finishing lines: Color Top, Color Top Vitrage, Milky Top and Milky Pink Top. These are professional top coats that not only finish the manicure with a glossy shine but also deliberately change its color result – adding extra pigment, camouflage or a translucent vitrage effect.

The collection ranges from soft nude and milky shades to red, black and semi-transparent colors. The different series let the same finishing layer not only protect the coating but also adjust its tone, soften contrast or create a layered “stained glass” effect.

Series in the collection

Color Top 01–09 – the core family of color-effect top coats. The first Color Top shades were created as pigmented cover top coats: medium consistency, flexible, self-leveling and no-wipe. For Color Top 01, the manufacturer also specifies a formula without UV filters, with shine and color lasting up to four weeks.

In 2025, the Color Top family was expanded with 06, 07, 08 and 09. The manufacturer launched these four together: 06 and 08 are pigmented Color Tops, while 07 and 09 are semi-transparent Vitrage-type top coats. All four were introduced as flexible, self-leveling, no-wipe and without UV filters.

Color Top Vitrage 10–18 – a separate series of semi-transparent vitrage top coats. It creates a colored yet see-through layer, so the base underneath remains visible. The intensity of the result depends on the base color and layering. For the 2025 Vitrage formula, the manufacturer specifies a no-wipe finish and UV filters.

Milky Top – a neutral milky top coat that gives a soft milky-white veil. It is suitable for French, nude and natural manicures when you want to soften the base color and even out the overall result.

Milky Pink Top – a variant with the same milky aesthetic and a soft pinkish tone. It gives nails a warmer, naturally pink camouflage. Both Milky products are separate 10 ml color-effect top coats.

Color Top or Color Top Vitrage?

The main difference is pigment density and the final effect.

Pigmented Color Top changes the color underneath more and can give an almost complete camouflage effect. It is a good choice when you want to adjust the color at the final stage, even out the overall tone or give nails a new shade with a single layer.

Color Top Vitrage is semi-transparent. It does not hide the base but covers it with a colored, see-through filter. This means the same Vitrage variant can be used over different bases for different results – from a subtle color nuance to a deeper layered effect. The manufacturer directly describes the Vitrage series as semi-transparent stained-glass top coats.

It is also worth noting that 07 and 09 are transitional variants in the Color Top family: they were launched in one four-shade collection together with the pigmented 06 and 08, but technically 07 and 09 are semi-transparent Vitrage top coats.

Milky Top and Milky Pink Top

Choose Milky Top for a more neutral, softly milky result. It is especially suitable when you want to soften a bold base, reduce contrast in a French manicure or give a nude coating a light milky veil.

Milky Pink Top has an extra pinkish nuance, making the result warmer and closer to a naturally pink nail plate. The product names clearly distinguish between the neutral Milky and the pinkish Milky Pink variant.

When to choose a color-effect top coat?

NAILSOFTHEDAY color-effect top coats are especially practical when, at the final stage, you want not only to add shine but also to deliberately adjust the result.

They are suitable for:
