NAILSOFTHEDAY Builder Gel is a professional line of hard builder gels designed for strengthening natural nails, building architecture and extensions. Classic Builder Gels have the manufacturer's maximum rating of 5/5 consistency and 5/5 hardness, so they create an extra-strong structure, reliably hold the architecture and are suitable even for sculpting longer nails.

This category also includes NAILSOFTHEDAY Builder Gel Vitrage – semi-transparent vitrage builder gels that let you build the nail structure and create a stained-glass, “jelly”, “candy” or see-through design effect at the same time. The Vitrage formula is lighter and more flexible: on the manufacturer's scale its consistency is 4/5 and hardness 3.5/5.

Classic Builder Gels come in clear, milky, nude, pink, brown and other shades, so you can choose either a purely technical clear builder gel or a material that adds color and camouflage straight away. The Builder Gel collection includes, for example, 01 Transparent, 02 White-Milky, 03 Soft Pink, 05 Nude, 06 Light Brown, 08 Milky, 09 Milky Pink, 10 Pink, 11 Light Pink, 12 Nude Pink and other variants.

Builder Gel Vitrage – vitrage builder gel

NAILSOFTHEDAY Builder Gel Vitrage is a new-generation line of semi-transparent colored builder gels, created to combine structure and design in one product. The translucent pigmentation lets you achieve a stained-glass effect, layer color and create designs with more depth, while keeping the structural properties a builder gel needs.

The Vitrage formula offers:

  • consistency 4/5 – lighter and more fluid than classic Builder Gel;

  • hardness 3.5/5 – strong yet more flexible;

  • excellent self-leveling;

  • a non-shrinking formula;

  • easy filing;

  • reliable apex retention;

  • color richness retained during curing;

  • smooth curing in UV and LED lamps.

Vitrage 49–54 color palette

  • Builder Gel 49 Vitrage – caramel;

  • Builder Gel 50 Vitrage – red;

The semi-transparent formula lets you control the visual depth of color and create anything from a subtle “candy” effect to a more intense stained-glass look. Especially suitable for vitrage, “glass nails”, layered and other designs where light passing through the material matters.

When to choose Builder Gel?

Classic NAILSOFTHEDAY Builder Gel is recommended when maximum structural strength is the key criterion – for longer extensions, more pronounced architecture, reinforcing natural nails or corrections.

Builder Gel Vitrage is a better choice when you want a semi-transparent color effect along with the structure. It is more flexible than classic Builder Gel and especially suited to creative vitrage designs.
How to use
1. Preparation: perform a hygienic manicure and degrease the nail plate with NAILSOFTHEDAY Nail Prep.
2. Dehydration: apply NAILSOFTHEDAY Dehydrator.
3. Adhesion: choose an adhesion technique suited to the base system.
4. Flexible base: before Builder Gel, apply a thin base layer using NAILSOFTHEDAY Rubber Base, Scotch Base or Builder Base Strong Gel, depending on the condition of the natural nail and the specific application technique of the chosen base. The manufacturer lists all three systems as possible bases for Builder Gel.
5. Sculpting: distribute the chosen NAILSOFTHEDAY Builder Gel or Builder Gel Vitrage, build the required architecture and level the surface.
6. Curing: UV lamp – 120 seconds; LED lamp – 60 seconds.
7. If needed, file the structure and do the final shaping after curing.
8. Finish: seal with your chosen NAILSOFTHEDAY top coat – Universal Top, Glossy Top No Wipe, No Stress Top No Wipe Anti-Scratch, Glossy Top Wipe, Teddy Top Wipe or Matte Top No Wipe.
Important information
Builder Gel is a hard building material, so a properly selected base adhesion layer is required underneath it. Choose the base technique according to the condition of the natural nail and the instructions for the specific base used.
