NAILSOFTHEDAY Rubber Base – a professional universal rubber base designed for normal natural nails. The flexible formula helps fill in natural irregularities of the nail plate, self-levels and lets you create a smooth, well-structured foundation before applying gel polish. The manufacturer recommends Rubber Base for leveling the nail plate by up to 1 mm.

Thanks to its medium consistency and high flexibility, Rubber Base can be used not only as a standalone leveling foundation under gel polish, but also as a thin contact layer under color bases, polygel, acrygel or hard gels. In that case, the base is applied in a light layer, and the manufacturer recommends removing it completely during infills. The product's pH is 5.7, so the formula is designed for gentle interaction with the natural nail plate.

When to use Rubber Base?

NAILSOFTHEDAY Rubber Base is ideal when you need a universal, flexible foundation:

for normal natural nails;
for correcting irregularities of the nail plate;
for leveling and building structure up to 1 mm;
as a foundation before gel polish;
as a thin contact layer under color bases;
as a flexible foundation under polygel, acrygel or hard gels.

1. Mechanical preparation: perform a hygienic manicure and thoroughly prepare the natural nail plate. The manufacturer emphasizes that high-quality mechanical preparation is required before applying Rubber Base.
2. Degreasing: thoroughly degrease the nail plate.
3. Dehydration: apply NAILSOFTHEDAY Dehydrator.
4. Adhesion: coat the nail plate with NAILSOFTHEDAY Ultrabond.
5. Applying the base: spread NAILSOFTHEDAY Rubber Base evenly and level it carefully. Depending on the technique, the product can be applied as a thin contact layer or used to build a leveling layer of up to approximately 1 mm.
6. Curing: UV lamp – 120 seconds; LED lamp – 60 seconds.
7. Next steps: after full curing, continue with your chosen NAILSOFTHEDAY gel polish, color base or another compatible building system.

If Rubber Base is used as a thin flexible foundation under hard building materials or color bases, the manufacturer recommends removing this base layer completely during infills.

The product requires thorough mechanical preparation of the natural nail. Avoid contact with the skin, use only as intended, protect from direct sunlight and keep out of the reach of children.
